What passing-bells for these who die as cattle? Only the monstrous anger of their guns. Only the stuttering fiery rapid rattle can patter out their hasty orisons. No mockeries now for them; no prayers nor bells; Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs, -
What candles may be held to speed them all? Not in the hands of boys, but in their eyes Shall shine the holy glimmers of good-byes. The pallor of girls' brows shall be their pall; Their flowers the tenderness of patient minds, each slow dusk a drawing-down of blinds.
The shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells. Bugles calling from their sad shires.

I walked in the door to see you holding another man's hand and life goes on wondering when this blood letting lust will ever come to an end. Subsiding feelings, recycling expiration dates and we go on wishing you'd see we’re all just merely human beings.

Please, please, please stop treating me like the next best thing I can't go on blaming myself for things I just can't seem to change. I see hope in love in altruistic harmony so lets move on singing the song when we had once been holding hands.
